About Us

The Albany Bootleggers were founded in the summer of 2012 with two simple missions, to create a social rugby team in the Capital Region and to help grow the sport that we all love. Out of those two ideas the Bootleggers were born.

As time has past the Bootleggers have continued to grow. We have members all over the Capital District as well as the country. Everyone is welcome to play with us. We range in age from 21 to mid 50's and are always looking for new players.
